Our System

Q1 How does this system work?

A1Our system is very simple. Just fill out the registration form provided and submit it.
After registering, your prospective students will contact you directly by email.
We also provide job info through email or mobile mail when we got request(s) from students and/or employers.
For more details, please read the <How it works > section.

Teachers

1) Fill out the registration form and submit it.
2) Shortly after clicking the <URL> in the registration verification email from us, your information will automatically be added to the database and will show up at the top of the teachers' list in the area(s) where you registered.
3) Wait for students to contact you via email.

Students

1) Prospective students search for teachers that best meet their individual needs based on their preference.
2) After the search results show up, they further check teachers' detailed information.
3) They then purchasing email address(es) of selected teachers and students contact you by email.

Q2 Will I be charged for this service?

A2 No. We will not charge you at all.

Registration

Q3 Do the teachers already listed have a contract with your company?

A3No. We do not have contracts with the teachers listed. You will on the other hand be requested to submit a photograph and/or detailed resume. Submission of these items is optional and free of charge. Taking these extra steps will ensure that your profile will be displayed in a special way on the site page for students, convey your enthusiasm to teach, and ultimately increase your chances of being selected by potential students and/or employers.

Q4 How long will it take for my information to be listed on your site?

A4 Our registration system has just been greatly improved again! After submitting your information to the site your information will be automatically added to the database shortly after clicking the <URL> in the registration verification email from us. Your name will show up automatically at the top of the list in the area(s) where you registered.

Q5 I'm a non-native speaker. Can I register?

A5It is possible to register on our site if you are not a native foreign language speaker. It is not us but the potential students who select suitable teacher(s) for them. Any foreign language teachers looking for students in those 4 areas are always welcome.

Q6 I have no teaching experience. Can I register?

A6 If you are new to Japan without any teaching background, it is also possible to register on our site. Again, it is not us but students who select suitable teacher(s) for them. We always welcome your registration if you desire to work or plan to work in Tokyo, Kanagawa, Chiba, and Saitama as foreign language teachers.

Q7 I live out side of the Kanto 4 areas. Can I register?

A7 Sorry. We will not register you if you do not live in the 4 areas of Kanto. We need to ensure prospective students that each foreign language teacher and each email address of a teacher is for a teacher who currently resides in Japan and is able to teach students face to face. However there is a large number of Japanese people who want to learn foreign language at a reasonable price, not only face to face but also through correspondence with native foreign language speakers. We recommend placing your ad info on our special ad page for foreign language speakers keenly looking for students in Japan. For more information, please read the <Classified Ads> section

Modifications Update Inactivation Deletions

Q8 How can I modify/update/inactivate/delete my information?

A8 Our site system has just been greatly improved! Using your email address and personal password at any time you can modify/update/inactivate/delete your profile through the "Member Login" section on our English Top page of the site.

Quick Update

If there have been NO CHANGES in your profile, simply click the <Quick Update> button in the "Member Login" section, or click the <Quick Update> button in your profile page.

Update

After log-in your profile, check/edit your information. Click the <Register> button after confirming your record. Your profile will be updated and our "Thank you for your update" E-mail will be automatically sent to you.
In our system, the date of your registration & update will be displayed on teachers' detailed information page provided to students. By completing this simple process, your name will be moved up to the TOP of the list in the area(s) where you registered. Please note that the quantity of the teachers' information, a personal photograph, a resume (which will not be displayed on the site page), and the date of registration/update are very important elements in student's selection process.

Trouble

In Registration Process

Q9 I have never received a confirmation email from the site. What should I do?

A9 Please check your Junk mail/Trash box as your mail system might put our confirmation e-mail automatically into your <Junk mail/Trash box>. If you cannot still find it, please contact us by E-mail.

Q10 I can't click the URL in the confirmation email. What should I do to complete my registration process?

A10 You can also complete your registration process by cutting and pasting (or typing) the URL into your browser.
If you still cannot complete this process, please contact us by E-mail.

In Update Process

Q11 I forgot my password as registered. What shall I do?

A11 Please enter your E-mail address in the "Member Login" section on our site TOP page.
Then press the "Send" button. Your password will be automatically sent to you.

Q12 I have never received my password reminder even though I requested to the site to send it. What shall I do?

A12 Please check you Junk mail/Trash box as your mail system might put our confirmation e-mail automatically into your <Junk mail/Trash box>. If you cannot still find it, please contact us by E-mail.

Q13 I forgot my email address as registered. What shall I do?

A13 Please contact us by E-mail. We will check our database and will send your E-mail address as registered.

Q14 I am planning to leave Japan for a while. What shall I do to suppress my profile?

A14 Please click the "Inactivate" button after login. Shortly after doing so, your information will be automatically inactivated by the site and not be displayed on our site page provided to students.
In order to re-activate it, simply click the "update" button after logging in and checking your information once again.

Q15 I am currently too busy to meet new students. Should I remove my record from the database?

A15 Please click the "Inactivate" button after login. Shortly after doing so, your information will be automatically inactivated by the site and not be displayed on our site page provided to students.
In order to re-activate it, simply press the "update" button after logging in and checking your information once again.

Student-Site Evaluation

Q16 How am I evaluated by students and the site?

A16 We have created this system in hope that it will better help enthusiastic teachers and motivated students to find each other. These evaluations will be moderated and supplemented by the site based on factors such as
: the quantity of information submitted
: the frequency of updating
: and students' feedback.

Problem

Q17 What shall I do if I have a problem with my student(s)?

A17 Our site is maintained between teachers and students, so we will not take any responsibilities regarding the troubles occurring with the students.
