Our Mission, Our Policy
The goal of a-kaiwa.net is to provide better opportunities for both Foreign Language Teachers and Japanese Students.
After much research and thought, it became clear to us that there must be a better alternative to the brand-name Language Schools that are clustered around the major stations in big cities in Japan. These schools charge students high entrance fees to support advertising fees and overhead expenses. Students who desire to learn Foreign Language quickly and efficiently are often stuck in large classes with little opportunity to actually practice their speaking skills. Teachers find themselves with little freedom to define their own teaching style, let alone set their own wages and hours.
There are many job opportunities in Japan for native foreign language speakers working or intending to work as a language teacher. Whether you are just starting out or whether you have many years of experience, a-kaiwa.net has something for everyone.
